POLITISTIKO ERGASTIRI AGION OMOLOGITON – Cyprus

Politistiko Ergastiri was established as a nonprofit organization in 2002, to host the Workshop of Traditional Dancing, which was initiated in 1999 and  the other cultural activities developed throughout the years. (Traditional Music, Film, Photography and Theatre). More than 100 children and adults have the chance to be involved and express themselves artistically through the various activities offered by the Politistiko Ergastiri.

The organisations activities are based on local or international Volunteers’ active involvement in organising activities Volunteers are challenged and asked to facilitate and gradually, participate, organize, and implement activities within this frame. This involvement includes co organizing events or even responding to proposed activities.

Politistiko Ergastiri Agion Omoloyiton, after 15 years of experience in youth work within the local neighborhood and 8 years of involvement in European projects (Youth in Action, Life Long Learning, Culture Programme), has acted as hosting, sending and coordinator organization for EVS projects.

Politistiko Ergastiri in collaboration with several organizations around Europe and Mediterranean countries has implemented successful Training experiences for Youth workers and trainers.
