Intercultural communication prejudices

We woke up this morning  feeling fine, but suddenly everything changed. We played the exercise of Albatros...  As soon as we entered the training room we felt like we came to a different dimension, where we learned how strongly we are influenced by our prejudices and how important and useful intercultural communication actually is.

World Cafe

The sun appeared from the hills and gave us the power to engage better in the activity. In the world cafe we started with writing down the problematic situations and then we thought about possible solutions for them.  These problematic situations had divided in four categories  : venue , planning , co-facilitators and participants.  Through this we learned about good practices and difficulties in facilitation and how we deal with them.

Public speaking

The public speaking session started with the review of our video recordings from the day before where we made a small speech and like this we saw how we appear when we speak in public. We made a learning feedback about Ana’s performance , after she volunteered to be the first participant to exercise public speaking in the training room. And after we got more information and tips about public speaking for example the tips and  important elements of public speaking  that we should pay attention to, for example the speech components : eye contact , gestures , use of room , voice , fillers and structure.  This day was a very productive and amazing day because it combined professional personal skills.
